ST. LOUIS REVIEW SUBSCRIPTION
In an effort to educate and inform Catholics of the Archdiocese, The St.
Louis Review will automatically be sent to each registered household this
year. As a parish, we are responsible
for collecting the subscription fees.
All unpaid subscriptions must be paid by the parish. Please call the Parish Office with your name
if you wish to Decline your copy of The Review. If you do not respond in some way, you will
automatically receive The Review, and the parish will be assessed
the fee. Designated envelopes with fees
or those marked DECLINE can be sent to the Parish Center or placed in the

HOLY NAME MEMBERS/MEN OF
THE PARISH The 2008 membership dues
are now due. The dues are $10.00 per
year. The envelopes in the Sunday Contribution box are wrong stating
$5.00. Any gentlemen 18 years of age or
older is eligible to join.
ASSOCIATION OF THE MIRACULOUS MEDAL
Will be hosting the Perry Art Guild in the Heritage
Room of the Visitor Center from January 11th thru February 29, 2008.
ADULT RELIGIOUS ED/FAITH FORMATION
BIBLE STUDY
The Bible Study of John=s Gospel chapters 11-21
will be very enriching, a good practice during Lent, which is less than a month
from now. The forms for signing up are
in the benches in church and in chapel.
There are 9 possible times for sign up.
However, these will be narrowed down to two or three, one at night and
one or two during the day in hopes that this will accommodate all
preferences. First week will be the week
of February 3rd.
CONFIRMATION
If any teen or adult has not received the sacrament
of confirmation and wishes to do so, please contact Sr. Delores.
RETREATS
Pray for all who will be involved in the Women=s retreat next
weekend.
The men=s retreat will be September 19-21 at the Center of
Peace in Ruma, IL. 9 have signed up for
this opportunity to grow in their faith.

and He provided us with the talents and skills we would need to do His

ST. PAT=S AUCTION
Saturday, March 8th
It=s time to start thinking
about the items or events you would like to donate. This is especially true if you are hand
crafting a gift. Last year=s auction was very
successful. We can do it again with your
help.
LADIES OF CHARITY
The Ladies of Charity served 255 families
consisting of 655 people during the month of December. Twenty-Four families signed up in
December. We are in need of shampoo,
toothpaste, bar soap and canned goods.
Please remember the food pantry when you do your shopping. There are baskets in three entrances of
church for your donations. During 2007
your donations were a great help. Help
us feed the hungry in 2008.

YOUTH MINISTRY
Attention Perry County Youth: Perry County Catholic Parishes are joining hands
to attend the 2008 Steubenville Catholic Youth Conference July 18-20, 2008 on
the Campus of Missouri State University in Springfield, MO. Participants include you if you are an
incoming freshman through graduating senior.
Conference is $155.00 plus transportation fees. Transportation will be approximately
$45.00. A $30.00 Non-Refundable fee is
due before January 28th along with the completed liability
form. Make checks payable to St. Vincent
Parish, the remainder fees will be due before April 25th. Questions, forms, or more information call

Fund-rasing Opportunities: Available with the St. Joseph/St. Maurus
Youth Group. A spaghetti supper along
with a silent auction, quilt raffle, and bluegrass band is scheduled for April
18, 2008 in the Parish hall in Biehle.

ROMANS 8 RETREAT
Bringing teens together from different cultures and nationalities to
grow in leadership and faith. For all

MATCHING GIFTS
If you have not pledged or donated to the St.
Vincent High School Endowment yet, you could be eligible for a Matching Gift to
St. Vincent High School for academic purposes.
An anonymous alumna donor has offered to match up to $20,000 for any new
contribution made to the High School Endowment or to St. Vincent High
School. The donation must be made by
January 31, 2008. This matching gift
does not include income from regular events or fund-raisers. Your gift is tax deductible in the year it
is made.

CLONING, STEM CELLS
AND THE VALUE OF LIFE

Mike Riddle - Mike Riddle, a popular speaker and researcher who works
full-time with Answers in Genesis - USA, will be the featured speaker in a DVD
titled: Cloning, Stem Cells and the Value of Life which will be shown at the
Perry Park Center in Perryville, MO.

7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2008.
TEC WEEKEND RETREAT
A TEC weekend retreat is scheduled for February
16-18 at St. Pius X High School. The
weekend is centered on the Paschal Mystery as it is lived out in the struggles,
joys and triumphs of our daily lives.

Finding Your Path - is a mini-retreat, for
single catholic women ages 20-40, which will provide time for prayer,
