2012-13 Theme: "Go Light Up Your World"
The theme for the 2012-2013 school year for St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Schools is "Go Light Up Your World"; song and lyrics by Kathy Troccoli. We will focus on how to live in God's light, how to be the light for others, and how to empower others to let their light shine. May His light shine on all of us as we begin this new year!

The St Vincent Parish School was opened in 1896 with an enrollment of 33 pupils.  The Daughters of Charity staffed the elementary school and in 1907 St. Vincent High School was begun.  Originally, the High School was a two (2) year program but in 1917 there were graduates from the four-year program.  In addition, a new building was erected in 1917 with a total student population of 332 (elementary and High School)  with a faculty of  ten (10) Daughters of Charity.

Our present High School was dedicated in 1953 followed by our new Elementary School in 1987.  Many renovations and improvements have taken place over the years, including air conditioning of all buildings, fire alarm systems, state of the art technology, and a new wood gymnasium floor and new school color bleachers (2012).

Also, in 2012, the two schools (High School and Elementary) became the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Schools with the merge representing our educating as a system. 

	8th Grade promotion and senior graduation The Eighth Grade Promotion is scheduled for Thursday, May 23 at 6:30 p.m. at Church. The next night at Church, Friday, May 24 at 7:00 p.m., the Senior Class will graduate from St. Vincent High School.
