Mrs. Brown has taught first grade at St. Vincent Elementary for thirty-eight years. She has her undergraduate degree in Social Work from Southeast Missouri State University and also holds a lifetime elementary teaching certificate. Mrs. Brown has a Certificate in Religious Education through the St. Paul VI Institute. Mrs. Brown is married to her high school sweetheart, Denny. The Browns’ have one son, Clint, who works as the City Engineer in Jackson, MO. Mrs. Brown enjoys working along side former students, shopping, watching Cardinal baseball, and reading self help books.

Mrs. Carron has been teaching Art part time for twenty years at St. Vincent Elementary. Before joining the St. Vincent faculty, she had five years experience in elementary education. Mrs. Carron attended Southeast Missouri State University and received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education and an extended area of specialization in Math for teaching grades 7-9.  She is married to Steve and they have four children, Angela, Joel, Amanda and Jason, two in-laws, Anthony and Jordan and grandchildren, Jonah, Dessa, and Eden. Mrs. Carron also directs the After School Care program.

This is Mrs. Anne Donze's fortieth year in the classroom.  She has plans to retire at the end of this year.  She has a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, a Certificate in Religious Education, and a Graduate Certificate in Spiritual Direction.  

Mrs. Donze has been married for for thirty-seven years.  Her husband, Elmo, owns two local radio stations. They have two grown children. Jack and Joy.  Mrs. Donze enjoys playing the flute, singing in the church choir, practicing yoga and drawing and collecting paper dolls. 

After all these years, Mrs. Donze still gets a great deal of satisfaction from her work.  Her favorite moments of the day are reading a great story to her students or teaching them a fun song.

Mrs. Cindy Elder has been teaching at St. Vincent since 2001. She began in 4th grade and moved to 2nd grade the following year. Before coming to St. Vincent Mrs. Elder worked part-time for the Parents as Teachers program in Perryville and Altenburg. She teaches at St. Vincent because she feels God called her to be here. She enjoys children this age and loves helping them prepare for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion.

Mrs. Elder has been married to her husband, Dean (SV ’79) for thirty years.  They have three children:  Randi (SV ’08), Kiley (SV ’10), and Trent (SV ’13).

Mrs. Ashley Evans has been teaching at St. Vincent Elementary since 2012.  She teaches 6th grade and loves every minute of it!  Mrs. Evans enjoys watching the students grow during the year she works with them and cherishes the special relationships she has with each child. Mrs. Evans is thankful to have found her place at St. Vincent which she describes as "such a caring and dedicated school."

Mrs. Evans received her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Southeast Missouri State University in 2011 and holds her teaching certification.  Mrs. Evans' goal is to one day obtain her Masters Degree in Reading.

Mrs. Evans lives in Perryville with her husband Jeremy, their daughters Madelyn and Lucy, their dog Indy, and cat Seraphina.  In her free time, when  not browsing for fun classroom ideas, Mrs. Evans enjoys spending quality time with her family, online shopping, and doing anything DIY, crafty, and creative!

Mr. Fischer earned his Bachelor of Music Education at Northeast Missouri State University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Webster University.  Mr. Fischer serves as a judge and adjudicator at Music Festivals around the state. He is beginning his 40th year of teaching and is actively involved in several music activities around the community.

Mrs. Gattis is a retired fifth grade teacher from Perryville Middle School. Her love of fifth graders and her interest in getting back into the classroom were the reasons for her to accept the position as the Para-Professional at SV. Her focus will be working with students in Reading skills and comprehension.

Prior to arriving at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Schools, Dr. Hensley served as principal for two Catholic elementary schools and two Catholic high schools in the Archdiocese of St. Louis. In 2010, she moved to a third world country, took on the position as Head of Schools, and helped to merge the only two Catholic schools in the country.

Having received her BLS, MA, and PH.D from St Louis University, Dr. Hensley is a Billiken’s fan and is often seen cheering them on at Chaifetz Arena.  She feels called to education and service to others, believing that, “For it is in giving that we receive.”

Kathy Hoffman began her employment at St. Boniface School, which eventually became St. Vincent Elementary School in the fall of 1975. She started her career as a teacher aide that year and is still loving her job forty-two years later! Over the years, she has worked with eleven different teachers and hundreds of kindergarten, first, and second grade children. A graduate of Valle High School in Ste. Genevieve, she married Gerald Hoffman, a 1961 SVHS Alum. forty-eight years  and two wonderful children later, (Kris and Scott), Mrs. Hoffman enjoys being grandma to Morgan, twins Mallory and Macy, and twins Hayden and Hunter. Her favorite thing about working at SVE is seeing so many young children grow into young adults and then return to register their own children in our school system. This is what she refers to as her greatest reward. Every day at SVE is a new and wonderful experience!

Dr. Johnson is in his thirteenth year in education and the third year serving at St. Vincent.  A former elementary student at St. Vincent, Dr. Johnson grew up in Perryville.  He has a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Murray State University, A Master's Degree in Educational Administration from Southeast Missouri State University and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Missouri.  Dr. Johnson holds a MO State Lifetime Teaching Certificate and is a MO State Certified Principal.  He enjoys running, swimming, writing, watching sports and anything super hero related.
 

Mrs. Michele Kapp

Mrs. Michele Kapp has been an R.N. for twenty-nine years with experience working in hospitals, physician offices, and home health. She has been married to her husband David for twenty-seven years, and has five children, Joel (SV 09), Alyssa (SV 11), Faith, Sara, and Jacob. She enjoys playing the piano at Church and cooking and baking for  her family is also very fun for her. She loves a good book, but her favorite activity this summer was swimming in her pool.

This past summer her son Joel got married and the wedding was beautiful. She is so excited to have a daughter-in-law. Her oldest daughter moved to Arnold and will be teaching music at St. Joseph's in Imperial. She is hoping to play the piano for some of her students. Over the summer Mrs. Kapp attended many educational school nurse seminars and is excited to be back at SVES to take care of all of the students!

Mrs. Lappe has been teaching at St. Vincent's for eighteen years all of which have been at second grade. Prior to coming to St. Vincent's she taught special education at Perryville Elementary School for six years. She loves working at SV because she can share her faith with children. She has three children: Heidi (SV '09), Abby (SV '12), and Alex (SV '15).

Mrs. LaRose began teaching in 2005 at a small school called Marquand Elementary. She taught sixth grade her first year and then first grade the next seven years. Then in 2013, she was blessed with the opportunity to teach first grade here at St. Vincent Elementary. In her free time she enjoys being with her family. Mrs. LaRose and her husband John have two children, Logan (1994) and Isaac (2011). We love spending time outdoors, cooking, reading, and playing.

Ms. L'Hote graduated in December 2017 from Missouri State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and recently received certification in Elementary Education. Ms. L'hote is the assistant volleyball coach for the Jr. High volleyball team. In her spare time she enjoys playing with her dogs, being outside, and spending time with friends.

Mrs. Martin has been teaching for her alma mater, St. Vincent, since 2000.  She has taught 4th grade Language Arts since 2004.  Her undergraduate degree certifies her to teach birth through 6th grade and she has a Masters in School Administration. Mrs. Martin has been married to Michael since 2002. They have 3 children: Sophia, Stephen, and Sadie. She is an avid Cardinals fan and loves to take pictures and scrapbook.

Mrs. Amanda Jannin-McClure has been married to her wonderful husband Shaun for two years. She has one child whom is three months old. She also has three dogs, rabbits, and chickens. She enjoys being around family and spending with them camping and swimming.

Mrs. Amy Miesner began her teaching career in the year 2000. She began teaching at St. Joseph's School in Zell, MO. While she was at St. Joseph's she taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade. In 2011, she was given the opportunity to come and teach at her alma mater, St. Vincent's. She is beginning her seventh year. In the past six years she has had to switch grades due to fluctuations in enrollment. She has taught 1st and 2nd graders and now this school year, she will teach 4th grader Religion, Math, Science, and Social Studies. 

She loves teaching at St. Vincent's because she has the privilege to teach not only to the mind, but the heart as well. She enjoys being a "sharer of faith" with my students. She wants all of her students to know they are an important part of our class family. 

She has been married to Brian since 2002. They are blessed with a twelve year old daughter, Lauren, who attends St. Vincent's. They have a little zoo at their house consisting of two cats, Mickey and Minnie, and nine guinea pigs named Ellie and Roxy. When she is not in the classroom, she enjoys walking, talking to others, and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Amanda Pecaut

Mrs. Pecaut is a mother of eight children and have been a practicing Catholic her entire life. She has lived in Perryville since she was thirteen. She loves children, teaching, and is thrilled to be St. Vincent's. Her hobbies are scrap booking, hiking, camping, and hanging out with family. She does not sing well, but she loves to sing. She enjoys listening to contemporary Christian music, and her favorite artist is Madisa, whom she has seen in concert three times. 

Mrs. Pecaut's children have been in SV schools for nineteen years. Her student teaching was done at SVES and she was a substitute for three years. She feels like she already know everyone and is very, very grateful for being given a chance to shine at this school.

Mrs. Kristen Renner is a St. Vincent graduate, Class of 2003. She previously worked as both an administrative assistant and elementary school teacher in the Kansas City, Missouri area. She is married to Brad Renner who is also an SV Graduate (2003) and they have three children, Brynn, Mila, and Levi.

Mrs. Sheri Rollet is fortunate to have taught second grade of twenty-six years at Perry County School District #32. Her favorite part of the day was when she read to the class or when her students read to her. Mrs. Rollet is looking forward to teaching in a parochial school where the love of Christ is the main focus. When she is not in the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her family, watching her daughter, Abby, play softball, and reading.

Mr. Rowland graduated from St. Vincent High school in 2002. He attended Southeast Missouri State where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education. Mr. Rowland teaches 5th grade Math, Science, and Social Studies. He is in his seventh year teaching and third year in coaching SVHS Football.

Mrs. Schnurbusch has been teaching at St. Vincent Catholic Schools for over twenty-five years.  Her first three years she taught music and religion at the SV Middle School. The next nine years she spent working with sophomores and seniors in religion along with junior high students for music. From 2000 to the present she has been teaching combinations of elementary school music, elementary computer classes, and high school drama and religion. 

Mrs. Schnurbusch lives in Cape Girardeau with her husband, Larry—an SV graduate and former teacher. They have two children. Bailey is majoring in vocal performance and music education at Southeast Missouri State University and Landon is a senior at St. Vincent High School. When he graduates he is planning to major in music composition and music education.

This is her eighth year as an aide at SVES. During the past seven years, she has been an aide in Kindergarten, First, Second, and Third Grade.

Mrs. Pam Tarrillion is a 1986 graduate of St.Vincent High School. She is married to Duane, who is also a SV Graduate (1985). They have one son, Drew, who is in fourth grade this year at SV. Her first teaching assignment in 1990, was in the St. Vincent Elementary School teaching Reading and Math. She spent one year in 2nd grade then moved to the 3rd grade the following year. Third grade is where she found her niche! This is her twenty-eighth year in education - all here at SV and her twenty-sixth year in third grade which she loves!  She enjoys spending the day with eight and nine year old's. Its a new day with happy faces and all of us learn something new! Besides teaching she enjoys being with her family, reading, baking, and cooking up new recipes.

Mrs. Crystal Tomlinson joined the St. Vincent Faculty in 2014. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, traveling to new places, spending time with her family, photography, and trying new things. She married Kirt, a 1998 graduate of SV in 2005. They have three daughters - Olivia, Claire, and Charlotte.

Mrs. Stacey Triller teaches third grade. She began teaching in 2007 after earning her Bachelors Degree from Southeast Missouri State University. She is certified in Early Childhood Education. She later earned a Masters Degree in Administration from William Woods University. Mrs. Triller loves God, her family, and teaching. Teaching at Saint Vincent Schools is truly where her heart is. 

Mrs. Triller and her husband, Terry, were married in 1989, and have been blessed with two wonderful girls. She is a 1988 graduate of Perryville High School, while her husband and girls are graduates of Saint Vincent High School; Terry in 1983, Rylee in 2010, and Reece in 2014. They have two very loved pets; Roxy, their dog, and Mogali, their cat.

Mrs. Ann Wengert, more commonly known as "Miss Ann", is beginning her thirty-ninth year of teaching Preschoolers. She received an Early Childhood Degree from Southeast Missouri State University in 1978. After teaching children in her home for sixteen years, she moved the Pre-K program to St. Vincent to serve our Parish and the children in our community. Miss Ann is involved with teaching our Vacation Bible School in June and our Sunday Preschool Class. Her two daughters, Katie ('02) and Kristin ('08) graduated from St. Vincent.
 

Mrs. Teri Welker

Mrs. Welker began her teaching career with the St. Vincent School system in 1984. She earned her undergraduate degree from Southeast Missouri State University with a lifetime degree in Elementary Education. She continued her education by obtaining her Masters in Education from Webster University. Mrs. Welker taught first grade for six years before moving to a Kindergarten position where she is currently teaching.

Mrs. Welker has been married to David Welker for thirty-nine years and has three wonderful children, a great daughter-in-law, and three beautiful grandchildren.She is blessed with a great job and great co-workers (friends). With this job she is blessed to teach sweet children and work with great families.

Mrs. Nikki Wilson was born and raised in Perry County. After graduating from St. Vincent’s in 1971, Mrs. Wilson attended school at Southeast Missouri State University where she received a B.S. degree in Exceptional Children.  She also has an M.A. degree in Exceptional Children and Secondary Administration, and a Missouri Certification as a School Psychological Examiner.
 
An educator for over forty years, Mrs. Wilson has been blessed throughout her career working with children of all ages, abilities, and exceptionalities, and working with many talented and dedicated educators.  For the last 15 years Mrs. Wilson worked for the Perryville public schools monitoring the process and implementation of the special education programs throughout the district.  

Mrs. Wilson and her husband Byron, have been married for over twenty-six years and have three sons, three grandsons, Cody, Jace, and Kade, and a granddaughter, Payton. They bring an additional level of joy to her life. "I look forward to working with the teachers, students and families at St. Vincent’s Elementary School," says Mrs. Wilson.
