Anointing of the Sick/Rite of Christian Initiation of Adult (RCIA)/

Baptism

The Sacrament of Baptism is normally celebrated at 12:30 p.m. each Sunday (excluding the Lenten Season).  Parent's of the child to be baptized are required to attend a Baptismal Preparation Session.  These are held the 2nd Sunday of each month at 1:00 p.m.  Please call the parish office at 547-4300 to register for the session.

Reconciliation

Reconciliation is normally celebrated:
   Monday - Friday after the 6:00 & 8:00 am masses
   Saturday after the 8:00 am mass
   Saturday from 3:30 - 4:25 pm before the Saturday Vigil mass
Seasonal Parish Reconciliation Services are held during Advent & Lent.

1st Communion

The Sacrament of First Communion is normally celebrated during the 2nd grade year. Appropriate religious education and formation takes place during the 2nd grade year at St. Vincent Elementary School and in the PSR Program.

Confirmation

The Sacrament of Confirmation is normally celebrated during the 8th grade year. Appropriate religious education and formation takes place during the 8th grade year at St. Vincent Jr. High School and in the PSR Program.
Adults who have not been Confirmed and are interested in the Sacrament of Confirmation, please call Sr. Delores Schilli at 573-547-4300 ext. 104.

Marriage

Please contact the parish office at 573-547-4300 at least one year prior to your desired wedding date.  Several meetings with the priest as well as the Archdiocesan Preparation Classes are required for marriage in the Catholic Church.

Anointing of the Sick

Also, a Healing Mass with the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is celebrated twice a year.

Rite of Christian Initiations of Adults (RCIA)

RCIA stands for Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. It is the process through which one joins the Church or completes his/her Christian initiation. It begins the first week in Sept. and ends at the Easter Vigil. A sponsor is one who participates in weekly meetings and celebration of the rites and is himself/herself a practicing Catholic willing to be supportive.

2025 HOMECOMING UPDATE

Due to a recent Football Conference realignment, the 2024 Homecoming football games for both the Perryville Pirates and the St. Vincent Indians have been rescheduled. 
 
- St. Vincent will play their homecoming football game vs the Cuba Wildcats on Friday, October 11th at 7:30 PM.
 
- Perryville will play their homecoming football game vs the Herculaneum Blackcats on Saturday, October 19th at 1:00 PM.
 
Please stay tuned to both schools as they send other updates for their homecoming weekends.
