Below is a link to our graphical report of our parish and school financial situation. We hope that this will help most people understand where we stand and the challenges that we face going forward.
Anyone, who so wishes, may request a copy of the complete financial report. If after reading this report you have any questions, feel free to contact any member of our Finance Committee if we can provide any further information or explanation.
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
The All Things New office has posted the proposed models for public review. These are the models that those who participated in the "Listening Sessions" were recently presented. You will also find links to the parish workbooks which contain demographic and other information on each parish. The link to the planning information for our planning area (#15) is:

Dear Parishioners,
I am excited to share that we are moving forward with a program to strengthen our enrollment and advancement efforts for St. Vincent de Paul Schools. As you know, a small St. Vincent Parish School was opened in 1896 and has a continuous, 126-year tradition of success. The mission of our St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Schools, united in Christ and guided by the spirit and educational values of St. Vincent, is to transform each student through the power of faith and knowledge. You can look at our thousands of alums to see the manifestation of our mission.
Here we are now, in 2022, and we must ask ourselves how we ensure that this tradition of success continues for another hundred years. How do we establish best practices across all areas designed for significant and sustainable growth, including the personnel, resources and tools needed to maximize enrollment, revenue and an ongoing culture of philanthropy? How do we thrive and not just survive?
I have asked a leadership team to form the SV Advancement Committee. This committee includes members of the parish staff, school leadership, the Ed Foundation, the Alumni Association, the School Board, Parish Council and PTO. With funding from a generous donor, we have contracted with Partners in Mission (www.partnersinmission.com) to lead us in these efforts. Partners in Mission is a full-service consulting and professional education firm focused exclusively on developing excellence in Catholic school advancement and leadership. Their mission is to provide comprehensive and effective solutions to address the challenges we face every day.
Specializing in advancement program assessments, volunteer leadership, enrolment management, capital campaign management, annual fund segmentation, major gift solicitation, planned giving, stewardship, strategic planning and leadership training, among other related services. Partners in Mission offers proven strategies and best practices to advance the mission of growth and excellence in Catholic schools, dioceses, religious congregations and parishes. They have served over 500 such organizations around the country in more than thirty states.
Our Partners in Mission consultant, Katie Thiemann (https://www.partnersinmission.com/our-story/our-team) will work with us to hire a Director of Enrollment and Advancement who will lead this effort for St. Vincent de Paul Schools and work with the Committee to create a comprehensive plan. We are most grateful to the donor who is funding this position and new office. The new position will report to the Head of Schools and work closely with school leadership and the SV Advancement Committee, as well as with Katie Thiemann to ensure best practices. Together we will create a comprehensive plan to grow both enrollment and advancement revenue for St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Schools to ensure that our mission will continue for students for years to come.
I ask each of you to join with us to support this new position and these new planning efforts. Our goals will only be achieved through a unified community committed to the growth of St. Vincent de Paul Schools.
Gratefully,
Fr. Joe Geders, C.M.
Pastor and Superintendent of SV Schools
