25 - JOY FM IMPACT Award
  • The IMPACT Award is presented to an outstanding high school senior who is making an impact in their school and community for Christ.
  • Seniors may fill out the application on line until Sunday, October 25th.
  • The winner will be announced at this year’s Greater St. Louis Christian College Fair at Living Word Christian School on November 5.
  • The winning student will receive a $5000 scholarship to their choice of a Christian College or University in attendance at the fair.

6 - Fireside Essay Scholarship

  • Return completed essay to Mrs. Wibbenmeyer by December 6.
  • Write a 750 word essay.  Essay Topic:  “How is your religious education influencing your    life?”
  • One essay will be chosen to be sent on to Fireside Catholic Publishing for the
    competition.

6 - National Wild Turkey Federation

  • Turn completed scholarship to Mrs. Wibbenmeyer by December 6.
  • Must be a member of the NWTF or have current hunting license and sign up to be a    
    member.
  • 3.0 on 4.0 scale.
  • Must be pursuing a degree at an accredited institution of higher education.

24 - National Defense Transportation Association Scholarship

  • Return completed scholarship application to Mrs. Wibbenmeyer by January 24.
  • The purpose of the NDTA Scott/St. Louis Chapter scholarship program is to promote
    careers in Business, Transportation Logistics, and Physical Distribution.  Although all students may apply, preference will be given to students pursuing these and related courses of study. (Past winners have had other career interests than those listed.)
  • High School Applicants must reside in Illinois or Missouri.  
  • Applicants must be high school seniors graduating in the spring of 2017, or full-time     college students.

24 - Perry County Mutual Insurance Scholarship

  • Return completed scholarship to Mrs. Wibbenmeyer by January 24.
  • Students compete to have application chosen to be sent to the state level the 
    Missouri Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (MAMIC), for competition for a $ 1,000 scholarship.  
  • This application is the same as the Arnsberg Mutual Insurance Scholarship. 
  • Fill out one application and print twice, so that each insurance agency may consider your application.

24 - Arnsberg Farmers Mutual Insurance Scholarship

  • Return completed scholarship to Mrs. Wibbenmeyer by January 24.
  • Five area high schools compete for two $ 500 scholarships from the Arnsberg Insurance office.
  • Five area high schools also compete to be chosen to be sent on the state level, the
    Missouri Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (MAMIC), 
    for competition for a $ 1,000 scholarship.  Five scholarships applications will be sent to
    the state level.
  • This application is the same as the Perry County Mutual Insurance Scholarship.

  • This is a local scholarship. St. Vincent, Saxony, and PHS all compete for one scholarship.
  • Must be a Child or Grandchild of veteran.
  • Please attach copy of discharge paperwork or other proof of military service.

  • Granddaughter or Great-Granddaughter of a living or deceased member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

7 - American Legion Auxiliary Past Presidents Parley Nurses Scholarship

  • Return completed scholarship to Mrs. Wibbenmeyer by February 7.
  • This is a scholarship given at the state level. St. Vincent, Saxony, and PHS all compete, and one application will be chosen to be sent on to the state level for scholarship consideration.
  • Resident of Missouri.
  • Member of a veteran’s family.
  • Please attach copy of discharge paperwork or other proof of military service.
  • Choosing Nursing as a career.

7 - American Legion Auxiliary Children of Warriors National Presidents’ Scholarship

  • Return completed scholarship to Mrs. Wibbenmeyer by February 7.
  • The deadline has been extended to February 8.  Note the essay is different from last year.
  • This is a scholarship given at the state level. St. Vincent, Saxony, and PHS all compete, and one application will be chosen to be sent on to the state level for scholarship consideration.
  • Child, stepchild, grandchild, step grandchild, great grandchild, step great grandchild of veteran who served during the eligibility dates listed on the scholarship.
  • Please attach copy of discharge paperwork or other proof of military service.

14 - Citizens Electric Electrical Scholarship    

  • Students must be a graduating high school senior and a son or daughter of a Citizens   Electric member.
  • Students must have a 2.5 or better grade point average.
  • Applicant must be enrolled in a technical school or uni¬≠versity where he or she intends to pursue a certification or degree to be used in a career field associated with the elec¬≠trical industry (i.e. electrician, lineman, electrical engineer, draftsman, substation technician, electric meter technician, energy auditor, etc.)
  • One letter of recommendation, and 200+ word essay.

  • Majoring in Environmental Science/Conservation, focusing on conservation and
    preservation of wildlife.
  • Minimum 3.0 and 20 ACT.
  • Must have taken or enrolled in at least one honors level Math course and one honors level Science course.

28 - Everfi Financial Literacy Scholarship

  • This scholarship is jointly funded by the Missouri Bankers Foundation and EverFi Inc., an education technology company, to reinforce lifelong financial education and responsibility.
  • Applicants must have completed or be in the process of completing the EverFi Financial Literacy Program.
  • This is a one-time $1,000 scholarship awarded for first semester college tuition, books and fees.
  • Candidates must complete and submit the EverFi Financial Literacy Scholarship application.

Missouri Legislature passed that private/parochial schools may now participate in the A+ Scholarship Program.  A student that meets the criteria may have their college tuition paid for toward a junior college or technical/trade school.
