SV Youth Ministry hosts a Lock-In for the 7th and 8th graders in the Fall. This night of fun includes large group games and scavenger hunts, and is hosted and put on by our high school leaders.

(Winter) March for Life


March for Life 2021 Teen Online Registration

March for Life 2021 Adult Chaperone Application

Every year, St. Vincent Parish sends a group of youth and adults to the March for Life in Washington DC. We attend with Generation Life- the group from the Archdiocese of St. Louis. Travelling the journey by bus, GenLife takes us on a pilgrimage lasting several days before and after the March. 

The March for Life 2021 will be from January 27-31, 2021.

The trip will be chaperoned by St. Vincent Youth Ministry adult leaders and Coordinator of Youth Ministry.

Luke 18 2019

Luke 18 is a retreat led by St. Vincent Youth Ministry with the assistance of the High School Leadership Team ("Disciples" - 11th and 12th graders, and "Cori Team" - 10th graders). The goal of this retreat is to introduce 7th, 8th, and 9th grade teens to a personal relationship with God through prayer, personal witness and testimony, praise and worship, and community.

Retreat activities will take place on St. Vincent Parish campus. Retreat participants will stay overnight in St. Vincent High School supervised by adult volunteers.

Cost: $45.00 for high school leaders (10th, 11th, 12th grade) and $60 for "Lukers" (7th, 8th, and 9th grade) – includes all on-site meals, supplies, and retreat t-shirt. Checks should be made payable to St. Vincent Parish.

* Families of retreat volunteers and participants are invited to the closing prayer service at St. Vincent Church on Sunday at 11:00am

Steubenville 2018

Steubenville is a high energy youth conference in which thousands of teens are invited to encounter Jesus Christ through dynamic speakers, engaging music, the Sacraments, small group discussions, and fellowship with other teens. The conferences are an outreach of Franciscan University in partnership with the St. Louis Archdiocesan Office of Youth Ministry.

St. Vincent will depart Friday morning and return Sunday afternoon.

The Steubenville Mid-America Youth Conference includes a van trip to and from Springfield, MO., two nights of lodging at Missouri State University, two t-shirts, daily programming, Adoration, Mass with the Archbishop, the opportunity for Reconciliation, as well as meals beginning with Friday dinner through Sunday lunch.

Registration is open to all 8th grade, high school, and college students. A $50.00 non-refundable deposit is due with the registration. The remaining balance will be due by May 29, 2020.

Cost is $250.00 total.

Fundraising opportunities for the youth are available throughout the year. 

Scholarship opportunities are available. Scholarship applications deadline has passed. The application and further info can be found at steubystl.com.

Masses - First Sunday of the Month at the Shrine

VMY celebrates Mass at St. Mary's of the Barrens on the first Sunday of the month at 6:00 p.m. Youth Mass is held at the National Shrine of the Miraculous Medal. Snacks are provided afterwards at Cram and Jam. Parent and Adult Volunteers are always appreciated. Compliance of the Archdiocesan Safe Environment Program is required to volunteer.
